Welcome,
1/ Go to the translations part (in the top bar) of the site. And click on the button associated with the language and the item you want to translate.
When you validate the popup, you receive an email with the zip file.
2/ There is some diferencies, but the files to translate are the readme.txt and the en-????.inc files located in admin/plugins/pluginname/lang and/or plugins/pluginname/lang. Rename readme in rusian and en-????.inc to ru-????.inc
3/ Some plugins use an other one 'Plugin Version' to test if they're update so there is a language file in admin/plugins/pluginname/version/
4/ When it's done mail the translated files. Take care that not all plugins are translated to english.

Thanks for your job, the zip is update with russian language files.
I have an article with the list of translators (Traducteurs).
If you give me a banner, i put it there and in the top banners.

I noticed you wrote "Xiva". Correct it to "xiva", please.
